The Wedding
“We had a small ceremony held in Elgin’s homeland of Hong Kong. Customs and wedding practices there are slightly different from Singapore. Family and close friends flew down to witness the event and it was a very joyous and fun affair. Earlier, we flew to visit the ancestral grounds in China and after that had some time before the event. We had a small after party at a nearby pub where we sang, drank and made merry the rest of the night! Our photographer was such a sweetheart and even offered to stay behind to take more photos. Despite it being 10 days away from our Singapore wedding, Elgin and I had a blast as we had more than enough help from our loved ones. I was extremely touched as my entire family flew in to give us their blessings and support. It was also a time where the family bonded over a trip together. We were in such good spirits that our photographer Fadly commented that we were one of the most relaxed couples he has ever shot!” ~ Kai
