“The images are all about the bride and her special relationship with her dress. We were inspired by the couture vibe and this dress collection, presented at Paris Fashion Week, to create a modern couture bridal inspiration in Paris. These dresses are truly unique and would fit a very glamorous bride who is looking for a more colourful wedding dress.”
This couture bridal shoot in the streets of Paris is a fashionista’s dream come true. Featuring Myoo Couture’s gauzy pink tulle dresses and Beretkah’s exquisitely designed hair accessories, it’s perfect for the adventure-seeking, fun-loving bride-to-be. The beauty look created for the model – rosy cheeks and bright lips – was also inspired by French couture house Dior’s fresh, glowy approach to make-up.
If you enjoyed this couple’s engagement photos at iconic sites across the City of Lights, you’ll love these photos as well, which were shot by the same photographer, Daria Lorman Photography.
A word from Yoanna Dochevy, the Berlin-based designer behind Myoo Couture’s luxury gowns:
"We work with high quality materials – cotton, silk, taffeta, chiffon, organza, tulle, stones, Swarovski crystals and beads, Japanese beads and Miyuki beads, selected for you with precision. MYOO COUTURE style stands for a modern, sweet, elegant, unique person. We find inspiration from everywhere: films, photography, but most importantly – from nature. The beauty of our models is a bridge between our inspiration and your unique identity!"
And a word from Tatiana Ashakova, a professional make-up artist, stylist and founder of Beretkah:
”When Yoana approached me to create a limited collection for her Paris Fashion Week catwalk and I saw her dresses, I was in no doubt that they would be complemented by a new technique that I used on my first headpiece - a floral crown created for a client on Etsy. I was shown a reference image of a very airy, floaty floral crown that looked like it was made out of glass. I didn’t make anything like that before, but was very inspired to take on this custom order. It took me a while to figure out what polymer to use to make these beautiful flowers and leaves. In fact, I found the material (sort of a liquid plastic) in Russia, where I am originally from.
When we met, I showed Yoana my ideas about what I would like to make for her looks, and we agreed on that. Every dress has its own matching headpiece, and a few were attached to handmade birdcages. Every single piece is attached by hand, and that’s why these accessories are so special!”
Thank you to the creative team behind this couture bridal shoot for sharing these beautiful images with us!
