Ciao Ristorante was awash with splashes of bright pink, yellow and green for Kim and Bernice’s festive vintage-inspired nuptials. The couple said their vows against a painted backdrop of large pink blooms, captured by WeFreeze Photography.
How did you meet?
“We first met at Riblees at Sri Hartamas. We were introduced by my best friend.” ~ Bernice
How did he propose?
“He proposed during a photo shoot we did together in Melbourne.” ~ Bernice
What was the theme of your wedding?
“The colour palette consisted of shocking pink and yellow. I like bright, happy colours, and wanted the overall design to be vintage-inspired.” ~ Bernice
How did you decorate your venue? Did you undertake any DIY projects?
“I hired Jokee of coochicoo : lilmama to do everything for me. She did an amazing job! I did, however, write every place card myself. I love calligraphy and wanted to put a bit of effort towards making my dream wedding a reality.” ~ Bernice
Any tips or wedding advice for other brides and grooms-to-be?
“Hire a really good wedding stylist or planner, so you can put your worries behind you and enjoy the day itself.” ~ Bernice
What do you think makes a strong marriage?
“Communicate, communicate, communicate! Every couple argues, but the point is to come to a solution together. Make an effort to love each other more everyday.” ~ Bernice
