A cheerful and chic free standing installation of oversized paper blooms dreamt up by In Merry Motion in the bride’s favourite shades of coral and pink greeted guests as they entered St Joseph’s Church. Their celebration continued with a lunch reception at CHIJMES with every smile and sweet gesture snapped by Samuel Goh Photography.
What was your theme and colour palette? How did you decorate your venues?
“We engaged In Merry Motion as our wedding stylist and shared with them that we would like a wedding experience that is happy and romantic. We love the huge paper flowers that In Merry Motion is great at and hence they were made in Gia's favourite colours – coral and pink, accentuated with shades of cream and blue. We also chose verses that are meaningful to us to be calligraphed on the wooden boards and mirrors placed around the venue. The outcome was sweet, vibrant and happy – just what we had wanted.
Before our wedding, In Merry Motion invited us and our bridesmaids and groomsmen to an afternoon of paper flower crafting. It was good fun and served as an ice breaking session too for our bridesmaids and groomsmen to get to know each other.” ~ Adrian and Giacinta
Do you have any tips and wedding advice for other brides and grooms-to-be?
“It's never too early to start planning – we took one and a half years! Also, remember that the wedding should portray who you both are as a couple.” ~ Adrian and Giacinta
Congratulations on your marriage, Adrian and Giacinta! May it be every bit as beautiful as your wedding!
