Having grandparents from Fu Zhou on one side and Peranakan ones on the other, wedding stylist Phillane of Med Kärlek Inc. grew up with an appreciation for the rich background and history of porcelain. As we inch closer to the Lunar New Year, we share with you our blue and white porcelain chinoiserie-inspired styled shoot, which depicts a Chinese wedding tea tradition where a bride-to-be prepares tea and mooncakes for her parents before her wedding day as a show of appreciation for her upbringing.
Our thanks to Truly Enamoured, The Beautiful Moment Photography, Candy Tiong, Livlov, Floral Magic, Crummb, Poptsie Paper Co., Man Fu Yuan at InterContinental Singapore and our model SiPei for creating these beautiful images with us.
A word from Phillane of Med Kärlek Inc.…
“Every part of the set up was handmade and designed by the creatives on board, and each was inspired by the intricate details of porcelain. When we first designed and put together a moodboard, we weren't sure about the challenge we had set for ourselves but we are so thankful that everyone had such amazing contributions to the whole look and the set came together beautifully.
We see the shoot as an art piece and every single artist had something important to bring on board.”
We would like to sincerely thank our dedicated team of vendors who collaborated with us on this styled shoot. Sharing your creativity with our community is a joy and privilege!
