After a "snow-mantic" proposal in New Zealand, Nellie Lim (@nellielim) and Zhe Han embarked on a breathtakingly beautiful pre-wedding shoot in Cappadocia, Turkey. The Singapore-based style blogger and her beau then threw an intimate solemnisation in her home, followed by a destination wedding in Bali.
Planned by The Wedding Concepteur, styled by Med Karlek Inc. (both Singapore-based) and captured by photographer Terralogical and videographer Leura Film (both Bali-based), the couple pledged their undying love for each other in an outdoor ceremony on the grounds of Villa Anugrah in Uluwatu, Bali.
Afterwards, guests adjourned to the dinner reception in a large transparent tent constructed over the villa’s swimming pool. The space was infused with a dreamy, ethereal atmosphere, thanks to the twinkling fairy lights and pretty botanical arrangements hanging from above.
How did you know Zhe Han was The One?
“We met at my secondary school’s post-prom party through a mutual friend. We got together 11 days later and the rest is history. I don’t think there was ever a moment when I knew he was the one because it’s always been effortless with him from the start. I guess I never had to think if he’s the one?” ~ Nellie

A word from Cheryl of The Wedding Concepteur:
“Nellie and Zhe Han's wedding is probably the largest destination wedding we’ve organised, with about 230 family and friends from all over the world. Despite that, every little detail of the wedding was very personal and reflected the couple’s romantic side. From flight and accommodation to seating plans, the couple was very thoughtful about every single arrangement.
The wedding wouldn't have been perfect without the hard work of all the vendors we worked with. We were blessed to have Phillane of Med Karlek Inc to design and style Villa Anugrah, and selected Flora Botanica Designs to assist with the set-up.
Everything was magical and unforgettable at Nellie and Zhe Han's wedding.”
A word from Phillane of Med Karlek Inc:
“Nellie wanted blush pink undertones with pockets of whites and greens to be the essence of her wedding, so we designed her wedding venue around this colour palette. We wanted to keep the whole set-up trendy yet classy and timeless, a reflection of their personalities.
In order to accommodate the number of guests attending, we built transparent tentage over the swimming pool and a transparent platform over the pool for their stage. We lined the tables with flowers, candles, laser-cut names of guests prepared by the couple and handpicked tableware and napkins.
As there were space constraints, we focused the decor on the ceiling and lined the top of the tentage with overhead florals and string lights.
We kept the reception and welcome area clean with floral arrangements and an acrylic wedding signage.
We were thankful to have the help of Flora Botanica Designs (based in Bali) as they came in to support us for the set-up!
It was a heartfelt and intimate celebration, and we felt the love they had for each other through their friends and family. We really enjoyed being a part of their wedding and this experience will always be kept in our hearts.”
Congratulations on your marriage, Nellie and Zhe Han! May it be every bit as beautiful as your wedding!
