If a ballroom wedding doesn’t quite feel like ‘you’ or if you’re lucky enough to be able hold a second, smaller-scale celebration for close family members and friends the day after your larger hotel wedding, then this guide is for you! TWS has scoured the island to round up a list of 12 über cool restaurant venues to help you decide where to tie the knot in style!
1. Food For Thought at Singapore Botanic Gardens
Perfect for the “green” couple, Food For Thought is located within Singapore’s oldest garden and was designed around love for family, care for the environment, enjoyment of rest and other aspects of sustainable living. The restaurant is surrounded by lush greenery and their eco-conscious restaurant features upcycled milk-tin lamps and full height glass walls that let in lots of natural light.
Seats 300 guests.

2. The White Rabbit
If a touch of whimsy is what you’re looking for in your wedding, then The White Rabbit might be the venue for you. It’s a restaurant and bar housed in a beautifully-restored old chapel off the Dempsey area and serves a fresh take on both classic European comfort foods and cocktails.
Seats 120 guest indoors and 60 guests outdoors.

3. Tanjong Beach Club
Tanjong Beach Club combines great ocean views and sophisticated dining for celebrations that will have beach bunnies rejoicing! The restaurant serves coastal cuisine with favourites including the Warm Octopus Salad, Grilled Ruby Snapper and Artisanal Seafood Linguini.
Seats 50 - 100 guests depending on the event space.

4. Wheeler’s Yard
Wheeler’s Yard is a relative newcomer on the scene but has made quite a stir since it’s arrival. Located in an industrial park off Balestier Road, this spacious venue is a hipster’s dream! We say the sky’s the limit for couples who are willing to flex their creative muscle and work some industrial chic magic in this space. Do note that, at the moment, you will need to hire an external caterer if you decide to hold your event here.
Seats 150 – 220 guests.

5. The Coastal Settlement
If casual is key and distance not a problem, The Coastal Settlement near Changi Village provides a fabulous option for couples looking to wed in a uniquely rustic and quirky setting. With local and western fare and an array of curios, antiquities and vintage treasures on display, this restaurant will certainly provide a charming backdrop for nostalgic celebrations.
Seats 200 – 300 guests. Please not that the restaurant does not take wedding bookings on weekends.

6. Stellar at 1-Altitude
If you’re looking to wed in an outdoor venue with panoramic views of the Singapore skyline then you might like to consider tying the knot 282 metres above ground level at 1-Altitude’s Gallery & Bar at One Raffles Place. After your ceremony, pop one level below to Stellar, an indoor restaurant which serves up modern cuisine and focuses on artisanal methods of preparation.
Seats 150 guests.

Nosh’s laid back vibe is enhanced by its location away from the city’s hustle and bustle. Set in a historical black and white colonial house in the lush dining enclave of Rochester Park, Nosh’s bistro-styled menu features a melting pot of flavours and cuisines from around the world.
Seats up to 100 guests at their al fresco deck and just over 200 over the whole venue.

8. Forlino, Dining on the Bay
Forlino is located on the second floor of One Fullerton, boasting a panoramic view of Marina Bay and overlooking the iconic Marina Bay Sands. Forlino is an Italian fine dining establishment with a culinary philosophy that is all about sourcing the best ingredients.

9. RedDot BrewHouse at Dempsey Hill
Are barbeques and beer more your thing? Then look no further than RedDot Brewhouse which serves up this age old historical beverage in an age old historical building - a restored 140-year-old colonial bungalow with 10,000 square feet of space.

10. Riders Café
Here’s one for the animal lovers! Riders Café is an intimate restaurant serving contemporary comfort food at the Bukit Timah Saddle Club. With a view that can be mistaken for an English countryside and a to-die-for chocolate cake, we can easily imagine couples chopping down their guest lists to the bare minimum just so that they can have their celebrations here.

11. Flutes at the National Museum
Haven’t you heard? It’s hip to be historical and Flutes at the stately National Museum is a great place to mark your history-making day! The restaurant’s cuisine emphasizes fresh seasonal ingredients, creatively cooked to bring out the best flavours. Choose to dine indoors in the Jubilee or Sir Henry McCallum Rooms, or outdoors on the terrace – it’s up to you!

12. Museo at Sentosa Cove
Here’s one for art lovers! Museo (which means museum in Italian) is located on Sentosa’s new restaurant strip, Quayside Isle, and combines casual fine dining with “art jamming”. Couples can hold their solemnisation ceremony outdoors at sunset with views of the marina and their reception indoors in the restaurant and barroom. Smaller wedding parties of abut 40 guests can opt for plated service while larger receptions of up to 130 guests will need to select their buffet service.
Seats 111 guests indoors and 20 guests outdoors.
