Held at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, Kelvin and Yiyi’s moonlight-themed hotel ballroom wedding reception and banquet was an impressive and immersive experience.
Planned and styled by MY Wedding Planner, with flowers by Wishing Tree and captured by Adam Ong Photography, the wedding featured a photo wall full of roses in pink and purple hues, as well as a starry night sky backdrop complete with a full moon. The couple made a grand entrance with extravagant blooms and sparkly lighting fixtures overhead, while the bride wore a bejewelled tiara and earrings that added a regal air to her flowing off-shoulder wedding gown.
Here are some photos from Kelvin and Yiyi’s pre-wedding shoot in Morocco:
A word from Lane of MY Wedding Planner:
“Kelvin promised to give his wife Yiyi a remarkable dream wedding. He put in a lot of effort to discuss how to transform the space into a romantic and whimsical moonlit wedding with me. The final décor truly reflected the vibrant personality of the groom and the dreamy effect that the bride loves.
To create the moonlit effect, we added an acrylic walkway and a photo wall platform to simulate the reflection of the moon cast on the surface of the sea. We also displayed large posters of the couple's pre-wedding photos taken in Morocco, like what you see at a film premiere.
Kelvin and Yiyi produced a movie and got their closest friends involved during the shoot, and screened the wedding video as a surprise for their guests. It was such a joyous moment for guests to enjoy.”
Congratulations on your marriage, Kelvin and Yiyi! May it be every bit as beautiful as your wedding!
