Queen Bride: A Bridal Boudoir Shoot at St. Regis Singapore

We are head-over-heels in love with bridal boudoir and think it could be the perfect wedding gift for your husband-to-be, perhaps as a sexy surprise on the morning of your wedding!

When Jeremy, of Jemanci Photography, approached us with the idea of putting together a dreamy and ethereal boudoir shoot that would showcase a bride's intimate moments before or on the day of her wedding, we were immediately captivated. The shoot was held at the beautiful St. Regis Singapore and Singapore Botanic Gardens. Heaven in a Wild Flower styled, and our lovely model Mandi from Basic Models dazzled in lingerie by Chalone and gowns by Hayley Paige from The Prelude Bridal with hair and makeup by Charmaine Tok. The final photographs, as you will see below, show that together we've crafted something truly special. Be sure to read on after the jump for more details about the shoot, and all the vendors that made it possible!

A word from Jeremy of Jemanci Photography...
“Bridal boudoir photography is very commonplace in the US. It is about capturing the beautiful curves and the shape of a woman’s body, creating suggestive and alluring images that radiate beauty in every way. I feel that all women deserve to have beautiful and flattering pictures of themselves taken on the most important day of their lives. My philosophy is that less is more, and this comes through in the poses and angles of the bridal portraits that I take.”

A word from Eunice of Heaven in a Wild Flower...
“Inspired by royalty, and the idea that a bride is the Queen on her wedding day, Jeremy and a team of creatives designed the concepts for a series of portraits filled with white, gold, soft materials like tulle and lace, beautiful natural light, and botanical elements.

The bridal boudoir session was shot in the magnificent St. Regis Singapore, where the tastefully appointed rooms and regal ambience provided the perfect setting for capturing these intimate moments. Hair and makeup artist Charmaine Tok, gave Mandi a very natural and radiant look with flowing tresses that allowed her natural beauty to shine through. She was captured by Jeremy in various pieces from Chalone and a gorgeous pair of Valentinos. Crummb created an elegant and majestic cake in white and gold that perfectly complemented the theme, while I designed the floral elements such as the garlands and centerpiece arrangement that brought the outdoors into the room. A vintage crown and a beautiful lace gown from The Prelude Bridal completed the concept, making it look like a coronation had just taken place.

A second outdoor look, featuring a flowing gown from The Prelude Bridal, with a rustic bouquet and floral coronet from Heaven in a Wild Flower, was also created in the lush and serene Botanical Gardens. It was enhanced by the dream-like quality of film photography that Jeremy is known for.”

{We'd just like to say a huge "Thank you!" to all the wonderful wedding vendors who jumped on board for this shoot! It's a delight to be able to work alongside you and share your wonderful creativity with our community!}
