Watch this short film of the couple’s wedding captured by the team behind Phantom Production…
How they met…
“Richard and Grace met in Beijing, China. Richard had moved to China after graduating from university, after one of his sisters recommended that he go.
He had another sister that was based in Beijing, and she happened to be looking for a home tutor for her kids. That was when Richard’s sister’s colleague introduced Grace to her.
One day, Richard met Grace while she was tutoring the kids, and the rest is history.” ~ Richard and Grace
What was the theme of your wedding, and how did you decorate your venues?
“We had a rustic theme with a colour palette of white and green. We showed a few images to our wedding planner 3Buttons, and they took care of the rest.” ~ Richard and Grace
What are some of your favourite memories from that day?
“I will always remember how I drove my friends to the venue.” ~ Grace
“Showing our skydiving proposal video to our family and friends.” ~ Richard
Any tips or wedding advice for other brides and grooms-to-be?
“Be financially prepared and be involved in the planning process as much as possible. Venues are usually available on weekdays, and if your family isn’t too traditional, have a small and intimate wedding. They are far more memorable.”
What do you think makes a strong marriage?
“We think this sort of advice should be given by those who’ve been married a long time! One thing we do know about relationships and dating though is that travelling together is one of the best ways to get to know someone.”
Congratulations on your marriage, Richard and Grace! May it be every bit as beautiful as your wedding!
