We have such pretty engagement images of Tim and Mui Koon to share with today by Eggs Benedict Chan. The couple's little signs which play on their names are just adorable and the photo of Mui Koon squeezing a bubble-wrapped Tim tight, so precious!
How did you meet?
“I was 16 when I first met Tim in church, he was 20 at the time. It wasn’t exactly love at first sight but Tim caught my eye. Tim wasn’t interested in me at first since he was already attached. Years later however, we started to talk and hung out a lot more and that’s how it all began!”
How did Tim propose?
“After exactly 1 and a half years of courtship, Tim decided to propose to me. He'd made arrangements to do so with the help of my brother and sister-in-law and another married couple from our youth group. The proposal took place at the top of the carpark next to my home. That day, I dropped my phone into the office toilet bowl and so I was uncontactable. Tim freaked out a little because he wasn’t able to track my whereabouts anymore. Anyway, I headed home after work, saw my brother and sister-in-law and asked them what were they doing there. They giggled and blindfolded me all the way to the carpark. I was whining about my dead phone all the way. With epic Pirates of the Caribbean music (I love Johnny Depp) in the background, dressed in a bubble wrap suit (I am obsessed with bubble wrap) which Tim made all by himself, shades, a bouquet of roses (which looked horrible because they didn’t bloom at all) and a guitar, he approached me and sang me a song he wrote. He popped the question and I said, 'Yea okay!'”
