You’ve followed Singapore influencer Mongchin Yeoh’s wedding journey, from her sweet surprise proposal to her wedding vision and the vendors she’s engaged for her upcoming nuptials. This time around, she’s giving us a sneak peek into her beautiful pre-wedding shoot in Greece!
Planned and captured by Greek company SunriseXperience, the photogenic couple visited equally photo-worthy islands that were off the beaten track for their pre-wedding portraits. In an ethereal tulle pink gown and a stunning low-back lace gown, Mongchin looked every bit the stylish bride.
Do you have any interesting or favourite moments, memories or special stories to share from the shoot?
“Visiting a lot of Greek islands that I’ve never even heard of! The founders of SunriseXperience are locals themselves so they brought us to many beautiful and undiscovered islands and places that weren’t that common. My favorite memory would be in Symi, where we took a yacht out to shoot and the sunset was so beautiful!” ~ Mongchin
Do you have any tips and advice for couples planning pre-wedding shoots?
“1. Prepare yourself for the shoot. Find photo inspirations so that both the photographer and you as a couple have an idea of what you are trying to achieve. This makes it easier to pose and find photo spots. Check out the weather and make sure you are prepared accordingly (umbrella for sun, jackets for the cold). Even though you will take them off for the shoot, it will help a lot in between shots.
2. Pick a photographer/videographer that you can click with. Having people you can click with makes photo shoots much more comfortable and as a result, gives you more natural photos as well.
3. Prepare yourself mentally for early mornings and rest early or during the day because shoots are usually done during sunrise or sunset.” ~ Mongchin
