Swoon Worthy Styled Wedding Shoot Inspired by the Muses of Greek Mythology

O! for a muse of fire, that would ascend the brightest heaven of invention.
― William Shakespeare

The ancient Greeks believed the nine Muses inspired creation and they certainly inspired us in today’s swoon worthy styled shoot. In particular we drew from three of them - Urania, the “Heavenly” Muse of astronomy, Terpsichore, the “Delighting in the Dance” Muse of dancing, and Erato, the “Lovely” Muse of love poetry. Our hope is that the source of our inspiration, this group of sister goddesses with their dreamy dresses, headpieces and poses, will in turn be beautiful inspiration for brides and bridesmaids everywhere.

These Greek mythology-inspired images would not have been possible without The Wedding Stylist, Chen Sands Photography, Simplemotion, The Proposal, Keren Wolf, The Make Up Room, thescriptography, Villa Samadhi Singapore, and Basic Models Management.

A word from Chen of Chen Sands Photography:
When we found out that we were going to be shooting with Keren Wolf’s beautiful pieces I was immediately inspired. Her pieces have a delicacy to them with her use of small flowers and stars, yet the overall forms are all so striking and powerful. A perfect style for a goddess! I have always been interested in Greek mythology and so the team worked together to produce a shoot around the daughters of Wit & Charm. They had nine goddess daughters in total, but for the shoot, taking direction from the jewellery, we chose Ourania astrology, Terpsichore dance and Erato love poems.

And I love the team’s final outcome! Each bridal style worked around the character of the three goddesses we chose, and it was great to work with each model too, watching them embody their muse!

It's always a privilege to share the work of wedding creatives with our community! Thank you to all the talented folks who participated in this styled shoot!
