The Dream That You Wish Will Come True: Isabelle’s Cinderella-Themed Birthday Party

Having worked with JoKee of Marble & Co on her daughter’s first birthday party, Kim knew right away that JoKee was the woman for the job for Isabelle’s Cinderella-themed bash, captured here by Asther Lau Photography. And boy, did she deliver! JoKee and her team did a stunning recreation of the scene where the mice and birds created a dress for Cinderella to wear to the ball. The dress was made of a delicate powder blue fabric to match the celebrant’s own princess dress and the dessert table by MJ Cakes. Cupcakes shaped like tiny dresses and spools of thread, little pumpkins, birds, mice and a life-sized carriage were just some of the many things that made a little girl’s dream come true on her birthday.

A word from Isabelle’s mom, Kim…
“JoKee planned my daughter’s 1st birthday as well. I know that I never have to worry when I have her as my planner because everything always turns out beautifully. The Cinderella carriage that JoKee brought was the perfect addition to the theme; it was truly fascinating to see everything come to life in such a big way. My favourite moment from that day was seeing the look on my daughter’s face when she came into the hall and saw it decked out in the Cinderella theme. I also loved seeing her blow out the candles on her cake.

My tip to other parents who are thinking about engaging an event planner for their child’s party: trust the planner you’ve chosen. Keep your mind open to all possibilities. More often than not, your planner will come up with things that even you haven’t thought of! Just relax and leave it all in their capable hands.”

A word from JoKee of Marble & Co…
“Kim is a repeat client of ours, and we were really excited when she called us again to do another party. She told us that she wanted a Cinderella-themed party, and that she was keen to revisit a Cinderella-inspired dress installation we had done previously. We added new elements to suit the venue and changed the colour of the dress from ash blue to light blue.

For the event, we decided to go for a simple dessert table since we knew that there would be plenty savoury foods and other desserts in the buffet. Limiting the quantity of the desserts gave us more freedom to dress up the dessert table with themed décor. Kim also wanted us to pay attention to the details, from the tables and chairs to the personalised welcome gifts that they gave out to all the little princes and princesses who attended the party, which I thought was very thoughtful.

We’re so glad to have a client like Kim who trusts us and appreciates what we do.”

Thank you for sharing these lovely images with us, Kim and JoKee!
