Without a doubt, you will have lots of information to keep track of as you plan your big day. We designed this wedding checklist to be by your side throughout this process. As you plan, you’ll probably find that some points on the schedule work better for you than others, or you may hit milestones a little earlier or later than what we have set out - so change it up and do what makes sense for your own wedding.

Nine Months

  • Ideally, your solemnisation, religious (if any) and reception venues, photographer/videographer, and planner/stylist should be booked by now
  • Begin researching florists, caterers, musicians, cake bakers, and any other vendors you require
  • Research wedding invitation language, draft wedding invitations, and book stationer or calligrapher
  • Buy wedding gown, veil, shoes, and accessories
  • Let wedding party know what you want them to wear and/or begin purchasing outfits and accessories for wedding party
  • Begin researching an officiant/solemniser
  • Start a wedding website and send out save-the-date cards/e-cards
  • Research hair and make-up styles
  • Inform family, wedding party and friends if you want them to give readings, speeches, performances, etc.
  • Start exercise routine
